Walking is a really easy way for everyone to get active. It can improve your health, your happiness and, if you join one of our groups, it will give you the chance to explore the outdoors, get to know your local area and meet new people. Just wear clothes you feel comfortable walking in, suitable footwear and take a bottle of water!
Walking is brilliant as it raises your heart rate without putting stress on your body and you can take your mind off things with some fresh air! Plus it’s sociable, so you can chat to friends as you walk around and explore the hidden gems of Bury. There are plenty of great routes and our group leaders will show you the way...
